The non-fiction book “Without Words” was written as part of my undergraduate degree in spring 2017. It deals with human expression, facial expressions and gestures and sheds light on which non-verbal signals are unconsciously perceived and interpreted.
The title “Without Words” refers to the importance of wordless communication, which plays a central role in interpersonal exchange. The open book binding is intended to symbolize the openness and transparency of non-verbal interactions. The book thus combines depth of content with a clear and aesthetic design.
